Chief Executive Officer
Perry Antelman, is the Chief Executive Officer of Abacus. He has over 30 years of executive business experience, funding, launching, and growing companies in the chemical and medical technology/pharmaceutical sectors.
Perry leveraged his experience to launch Abacus Health Products and deliver the first-to-market, legal, OTC topical pain relief products blended with CBD hemp extract (Cannabis sativa L).
Dr. Bharat Madhavan
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Bharat Madhavan is a microbiologist holding several international patents, specializing in R&D and Quality Control/Assurance in the field of formulations and Pharmaceutical Science.
Utilizing cutting edge techniques and technology, Dr. Madhavan designs, develops, and tests new formulations to ensure they adhere to the highest standards and provide maximum benefits.
Chief Financial Officer
Hank Hague is an experienced CFO. Prior to joining the company Hank was the CFO of Foster Corporation; an ISO 13485 biomedical polymer compounder for the medical device industry and cGMP drug delivery CMO. He served as CFO for Scott Brass a Sun Capital Partners portfolio company.Mr. Hague has worked in financial roles for Stanley Black & Decker, Pitney Bowes, Medtronic, and The Gillette Company.
Senior Investment Director (Consultant)
Henderson and Company is a consulting practice helping early stage and emerging companies with critical strategic and operational issues, and interim management.
Phil has held top management positions in public and private companies, and has successfully raised financing with Angel, Institutional and Corporate investors.
Vice President of Marketing
James Barkat spent over ten years at Sanofi Consumer Health, where he most recently served as U.S. Marketing Head – Digestive Health, a $300 million portfolio that includes brands such as Dulcolax, Zantac, and Rolaids. Mr. Barkat has over 20 years experience in the over-the-counter pharmaceutical industry, including new OTC classifications and product launches, and has marketed in joint collaboration with 10 major U.S. retailers.
Vice President of Sales
Mark Bolling joined the Company with more than 25 years of business development, sales, and marketing experience spanning diverse industries and product lines. He served as the Vice President of Business Development – Commercial Sales for PuraCap Pharmaceutical, a manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products for the United States and international markets. There, Mr. Bolling rapidly and successfully turned around the sales and marketing functions of the business, including the rebuilding of the international sales team.
Vice President of Corporate Development
Jonathan specializes in capital raising, M&A and business development. He has held senior roles in the technology, life sciences and mineral resource sectors.
Prior to joining the company Jonathan was Vice President of Business Development at iMDsoft.
